A Prayer

I Love My Friends

Dear Ami,
In life certain people touches your heart and you can’t stop praying and wishing the best of life for them. I lay odds that friends are a man’s closest bosom, for there are friends that sticks closer than a brother. And valuing such friendship isn’t merely by seeing them everyday. What count is that somehow in our busy lives we are reminded of those who trail the path for us and gave us room to be who we are in their presence and just take a moment to appreciate them.

Thus in this moment, I want you to know I think very highly of you and my thoughts about you are full of bliss and gratitude to God that our paths crossed. You are a light—you illuminate me in ways unimaginable. I pray as you walk on your path through life, that every phase unveils the beauty you possess on the inside. May your strength be renewed with each passing day, may your heart be always anchor in peace and your body be vitalized with health. And, may the outcome of everything you do be pleasant. You are a blessing. Do have a good wonderful day.

Yours always,
La Joya.

Yin—Yang

“The biggest mistake one can make is losing yourself in the process of valuing someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too.” —Anonymous.

Dear Ami,
It’s been a long time coming. If I didn’t know better, I’d say you forgot about me for a moment there(~_°). How are you, buddy? Well, I’m shocked you still chasing that gurl after she explicitly told you she didn’t want you no more. You need to stop and accept the fact that she’s gone. See, accepting the realities of reality can be the hardest thing to do especially when you are in love, but it will be easier to handle if one can balance that reality with self love.

I know we can be very naive at times even when there are sign post or signals telling us it’s time to stop the chase, and stop knocking at the door. And at times, it’s not faith that keeps us knocking against the obvious but fear of accepting what is. Which is why it’s important in life to be in perfect equilibrium with yourself—like being the yin to your yang.

Yours Always,
La Joya.
