Dear Ami,
Hope you feel much better than when you wrote me that letter last week? I’m sorry for my late reply. I had a lot at hand and forgot to check my mailbox.
Well…family thou! Family is everything. It’s where life begins and where love thrives. They build you up for life and expect the best from you, but they often get disappointed when they think you’re throwing your life away by the decisions you make, and then the wrong communication tunes in—which is something family also do. Although the motivation is always pure.
However, the truth is they don’t see into everything. They didn’t see the frustration you felt while working at that job and the other depressing emotions that came with it. Which is were they’re mistaken. And, I wouldn’t advice you trying to prove them wrong or getting angry over it, but prove to yourself that you deserve to be happy and you’re able to dream. In the end, that joy and fulfillment would spread towards them. No one can make the difficult decisions for you in life. It’s always your call. And no one can understand how difficult is was for you before resigning just to pursue your dream, unless they’ve walked a mile in your shoes.
Cheer up my friend.
Yours always,
La Joya.
